Hospitality

Team Lead: Quinn Bell

Meeting Times: Monthly

Hospitality is not just a team, but a ministry whose overall purpose is to ensure that every person who visits PCC feels welcomed – from the moment they enter the parking lot to the moment they exit the building. Hospitality (or southern hospitality, as we like to call it) is the core staple of every department and every interaction, and how the team’s volunteers demonstrate that with excellence from the parking lot to the sanctuary to after the service is integral to creating an experience for the public that is evidence of God’s love and power in action.  We meet monthly. If you have a heart for service and a ready smile, we’d love to have you!

Meeting Times: Weekly

Celebrate Recovery is 12-Step Recovery Program Guided by 8 Biblical Principles.  The now world-wide program was started by John Baker who was an alcoholic and staff member of Saddleback Church.    It is similar to Alcoholics Anonymous, but is for those looking specifically for a Christian addiction recovery group. Celebrate Recovery is not limited to alcohol abuse, but helps people find freedom from addictions of all kinds of substance abuse (alcohol or illegal or prescription drugs), as well as other physical or emotional addictions. Celebrate Recovery does not distinguish one hurt, habit or hang-up from another.  We meet weekly, and welcome you to join us.

Purpose Kids

Team Leads: Nicole Logan and Kim Cooper

Meeting Times: Weekly

We get kids excited about Jesus and help them build their faith by using Bible stories, songs, group activities, and curricula designed for kids 3 years old through 10 years old.

We take your kids' experience just a seriously as we take our adult experiences. The other thing we take seriously is your children’s safety. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our Purpose Kids program the first time that you visit, so you’ll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes to get signed in for the kids experience.

Evangelism

Evangelism

Team Leads: Johnny Collins

Meeting Times: Monthly

We love Jesus. We love the church. And we also know that Jesus didn’t intend for the church to be an exclusive club - He wants every person to know and follow Him. And that’s why it’s important to invest in the unchurched people in our lives. That doesn’t mean we treat people as projects - but it means we reflect the image of Christ to everyone we come in contact with and in everything we do. We offer a safe and non-judgmental space for people to ask questions and to struggle. And when the time is right, we make the invitation for them to make the next step to follow Christ. We meet monthly. If you have a heart for helping people wrestle with the tough questions of life, we’d love to have you!

God works through the church to bring His family back together through Jesus Christ.
